The Marolles

It’s through the Castle “Porte de Hall” that start the discovering of the district “Les marolles” , well known for its antique shops and secondhand shops (in Rue Haute and Rue Blaes) and the flea market in Place du jeu de balle. (daily 7:00-14:00, best on weekends.)

Sablon

Located near the place Poelarts, the Sablon is the perfect place for the art lovers to wander the antiques shops and modern art galleries. The antique market takes places every weekend on the square.

You can also enjoy a walk in the parc d’Egmont in front of the church du Sablon, which is a haven of peace and pleasant refuge from the busy streets.

Louise Avenue and Shopping

Our house is 5 minutes’ walk from the famous Avenue Louise, well known for all the shopping addicts. You can also enjoy the “Gallerie de la toison d’Or” in Avenue de la toison d’or and all the luxury shops in Boulevard de Waterloo.

"Grand Place" - The main square

It’s the central square of the city. It’s world renowned for its aesthetic richness. From here you can visit the Manneken pis, walk in the Galeries Saint Hubert (shopping arcades), and pass by various surrounding pedestrian streets, passing by the famous Place Saint Gery and Rue Antoine Dansaert.

Horta Museum / Art Nouveau & Art Déco

The Horta Museum is established in the private house of Victor Horta. 

Brussels has an enormous Art Nouveau heritage in many quarters of the city, including the Bailli and Chatelain quarters which are close to our Bed and Breakfast.
